Mike VanDervort @MikeVanDervort over at The Human Race Horses is hosting the upcoming HR Carnival and this one is the HR Carnival of Giving. In the spirit of the season he decided to try to get 100 contributors by pledging $1 for every post (up to $100) – and because I’m all about worthy causes, I threw my hat into the ring to match that… along with @talentsynch @Stelzner @JoanGinsberg @SteveBoese @Karla_Porter and @Kris_Dunn – some great HR blogging talent.

So send Mike a post on Human Resources, Training or Recruiting – one that you wrote in the last few weeks, or one that you write especially for this occasion – and add in a link to your favorite charity. I’m not sure how we are going to select the charity but I challenge you to make us spend our money.

Unfortunately this required a reinstall, which wiped out comments from yesterday.

So thank you to @beneubanks and @steveboese and @hrmargo for posting comments on the new blog. I wish I could have saved them! You are the most encouraging bunch of folks a new blogger could be graced with knowing, and you are appreciated.

And I’m going to try not to break it again.

But I’m not making any promises.
