Took me fix to comprehend all the comments, but I extraordinarily enjoyed the article. It proved to be Extremely helpful to me and I am satisfied to all the commenters here! It’s always subtle when you can not only be au fait, but also entertained! I’m sure you had fun writing this article.
Don’t listen to Animal. Southern gals make it with their soft spoken charm, not their Canadian wildness and shouting.
I was pleasantly surprised by Tammy’s appearance. (I don’t like her Twitter icon). I like that long hair and Southern accent. But, dear, I know the topic was boring and I know you didn’t pick it – I heard your disclaimer at the beginning. But you were so serious; you didn’t try to put any pzazz into it either. So, come on, you can’t stop now. Redo it. Say the same thing again — but shout this time! It’ll be a hundred per cent better. Trust me.
Well done! Definitely agree with ‘work – life’ balance (or lack thereof) being an HR focus point in 2010. Our company recently mandated, via new vacation accrual schedule, that we take our vacation time annually. Since I’m one of those ‘good’ employees that has not historically taken vacation, I’m definitely looking forward to some more balance in my life. (altho I have heard that ‘balance’ is overrated… guess we’ll see)
